Archer 181 - Fuel gauge replacement

one of my fuel gauges is acting up. at this point I am not sure if its the gauge itself or the probe/sender, but it needs to be looked at. I am considering upgrading to a digital one : https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/inpages/aerofl202.php

or something similar. anyone else have a setup like this? any recommendations? should I look at changing the Senders to magnetic ones or something little more reliable than the stock ones that are installed?
