I've got a half a century year old Centruy IIB AP.
I managed to fix most of the problems and I can finally use it at least in heading mode.
The problem is, it only manages to keep a heading for about 15-20min. When the time is up, it suddenly initiates a shallow left turn and roll knob becomes completely ineffective although the servos are still active.

I've gone through almost every connection. I can't explain why it would some how "time out" and start the shallow turn. Any ideas? A new AP would probably cost half the hull value of my airplane so it is not an option.
