I've heard about some tools that recommend the best altitudes for cross countries. Typically, I just call FS and get a WA forecast and then once in the air just hunt around for the best winds. Probably not a bad tactic. But, it'd be great to input a route and then have the computer cross reference the forecasts and spit out the best altitude for groundspeed optimization. If it could also factor in fuel burn to TOC and from TOD and recommend the best profile vs distance from a fuel burn perspective, etc.

I use Foreflight. Is this a capability of Foreflight? If not, what other tools are out there?
