During flight the alternator field wire broke loose and touched the muffler. The Mechanic repaired the wire, checked the alternator, and changed the voltage regulator. Afterward, we learned that all nav light bulbs were blown, one main gear down bulb blown, and turn coordinator no longer works though it's 5 amp breaker had popped out. AnyOne know what happens when the field wire goes to ground and what I should look at before replacing the turn coordinator? 1968 Arrow.
