This is off a 1969 PA-28. It’s the little Panel that goes behind/under cowl that covers the alternator.

It’s lived a rough life lately it looks like. Trying to repair, but I’d like to find one in better shape.

How do I figure out the part number and if this Panel was used in any other Piper variants and what year models it would be found in?

Not sure if it has been the same Panel forever or if the Panel from some other year models will not work.

I want to start looking thru old parts and calling around, but want to make sure I am looking for what I need.

Thank You
