AirGizmos horizontal adapter guidance

Hi, does anyone here have the horizontal angle adapter from AirGizmos and would mind explaining how everything goes together? I know how the GPS (Aera 500 in my case) fits in the mount, but how does the mount screw into the adapter, and how does the adapter get attached to the avionic stack?
