Hello, I'm having issues with my Garmin 796 while it's in the AirGizmo panel mount dock with angle adaptor. More often than not, my unit will turn off all of a sudden or the 4 soft keys on the bottom will not function at all. I usually have to remove & replace the unit several times before it will work properly. Seams like you have to get it "just right", a definite annoyance and I'm losing confidence in it. Almost ready to put it back on the yoke.

I'm not sure if it's the release lever or the power button lever that might be the culprit . I have been considering removing the power button lever and notching a hole on the top of the angled dock so I can turn the GPS on/off by pushing the power button with my finger, just not sure that's the problem.

Has anyone else with an AirGizmo panel mount dock experienced any problems?

Thanks.
