My tug gave up the ghost today. It has a 5.5hp engine on it and I’m trying to decide if I want to just replace the engine or build an electric one. Anyone here build an electric tug before? If so, do you have any plans or recommendations? New engine is about $300 unless I go harbor freight, then it’s about $125.
