In cruise flight, my oil temps never exceed 170. Temps only go above 180 in extended climbs (usually up to the high 180s to mid 190s, rarely above that). CHTs are generally in the 300-310 range during cruise and reach into the 350s on extended climbs.

In the winter, with the winterization plate installed, oil temps rarely reach 160.

Is the vernatherm adjustable, so we can increase the temps to slightly above 180? Or does it need to be replaced?

Thanks,
Pete
