So my adf is dead, and I will be installing a 530w at the beginning of march, I am on a very tight budget but wanted to ask, is their anything else that is worth installing at the same time as the 530w? Budget is an issue but if their is some device that is of big bennifit I would think about it if it's only a little more money. My shop suggested a flight stream 210... for 2k Canadian, that's about my limit budget wise...
I already have xm wx to the 430w and storm scope that will all be tied to the 530w and the 530 will be come com 1 and 430 moved to com 2
I also use foreflight it Bluetooths to an xgps 150 and I also have Barron mobile link (2nd subscription) to get xm on the iPad
I will in the future (not this year now for sure) have to do a 406 elt and adsb for the mandate although Adsb is not used in Canada in the same way...
Lastly my plan for the adsb mandate is a Garmin 345 as I have a 327 in panel already so it saves some install time but I think it connects by Bluetooth too and I'm not sure if I can do flight plan transfer through the 345 to the 530&430 using foreflight
