A really noob pilot question. (tipping)

Do you tip the guys at the GA FBO's? If so, who, how much, and for what?

I'm from a background of service industry wages and tips and I always feel the need to tip the guy who wands me in or drives the "follow me" cart and carries our bags to the terminals but I don't want to insult him with the wrong amount or put him in the position of being obligated to decline for fear of getting in trouble for taking money.

Any help?
