An Archer is up for sale in Doylestown, PA. I think I am interested. Airframe seems solid, engine has been overhauled and being installed this week. Also new prop. I largest problem is the paint is trash, like bad, real bad. Avionics are average or maybe slightly above and interior is average. With a solid airframe and powerplant I think (emphasize think) i am willing to compromise on looks for solid and dependable. I figure about $15000 in new paint and new interior from Airtex for about $4500 I could tackle these over 3-4 years, or so my thoughts. Anyway, any recommendations for a quality A&P that can perform a pre-purchase evaluation in the philly area? Thanks in advance.
