I'm sure I need to experiment some more. It seems difficult for me to maintain perfectly level flight. With a specific elevator trim setting, the plane will do a series of climbs and descents and I'm sure looks like waves/troughs from the side...average altitude is constant.

Of course speed is constantly changing during all this. I'll nose up, lose speed, nose down, gain speed (and lift), nose back up...and so the pattern continues.

Seems like I read something about with just the pilot on board our Cherokees have a forward center of gravity??? Adding a case of water to the baggage compartment helped???

What am I doing wrong?
