My wife asked to go to the beach. We left southern MD at 0800 Sunday and were at Ocean City NJ at 0850. Great breakfast at the airport diner followed by a 20 minute walk to the beach. Three hours of sun and surf and then back in the plane for an hour's flight home. We were shopping for dinner by 1500. Gorgeous weather and a beautiful beach. The nearest ocean is nearly four hours away by car and it is not as nice as OC NJ. We watched the backed up beach traffic from 6,500ft. I knew there was a reason I bought this plane.
