I didn't realise until I was back in Ottawa filling in my journey log, but at the moment that my wheels touched the ground at Joliette Airport this morning, my 1979 PA-28-161 airframe ticked over to exactly 5,500.0 hours. Round numbers like that always seem special (for no logical reason).

Now, back to our regularly-scheduled programming.
