Did my 3rd first solo today. How does one have 3 first solos? Like this: my first first solo was Oct 4, 1979 in a glider when I was 14. Then in the spring or summer of 1989, my second first solo was a Warrior out of KLGB. But, youth and lack of discipline caused me to squander resources and not complete the ASEL addition to my glider PPL. Which brings us to today, when, after 7.5 hours of instruction, I soloed once again. But this time, in my own airplane!

I should have selected a shirt that wouldn't have shown sweat so badly!
