Was having a problem with the electrical system in which for no apperant reason, the amp meter would drop to "0". Sometimes it would come back and show anywhere from 35 to 45 amps but then would drop off again. There were a couple of times that I would start losing radios as my batery started dropping off line. I started with the Alternator but that didn't solve it.
A Piper Avionics Tech suggested I replace the old RF transformer with a Capasitor which I did and it seemed to work. But after about 15 hours I'm seeing the same situation. I'm now thinking it could be the Gill Battery.
Anyone else have these problems?
